How prepaid calling works
Voice minutes are usage-based and paid from your wallet — separate from your monthly plan. Here's the whole model, in plain English.
Prepaid, not postpaid
Add money to a wallet and every connected call draws it down. No end-of-month bill shock — you can only ever spend what you've loaded.
Billed by the minute, rounded up
Charge = (call seconds × your per-minute rate) ÷ 60, rounded up to the next cent. Your per-minute rate is set per account.
Short calls are free
Calls of 15 seconds or less bill zero — no matter how many you make. Voicemails and quick no-answers don't cost you.
Auto-recharge & a full ledger
Turn on auto-recharge so campaigns never pause for funds. Every top-up and debit is recorded in a permanent, exportable ledger.
Per-minute rates are set per account and shown right in your wallet before you dial. Plan prices above are billed separately from wallet usage.

How does billing actually work?
Two parts, kept separate. A flat monthly plan unlocks your agents, numbers, and concurrent campaigns. Calling itself is usage-based, paid from a prepaid wallet at a per-minute rate set for your account. Calls of 15 seconds or less are free.
What counts against my plan limits?
Your plan caps three things: how many AI agents you can build, how many phone numbers you can hold, and how many campaigns can run at the same time. Everything else scales with your prepaid wallet, not your plan tier.
Do I need my own telephony or carrier account?
No. AI Phone Genius owns the voice engine and telephony. You configure agents and campaigns; the platform handles the dialing infrastructure and the phone numbers.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — change plans any time from Settings → Billing & wallet. Plan changes take effect immediately, with no downtime and no need to rebuild your agents or campaigns.
What happens if my wallet runs low?
Two safety nets. You get a low-balance warning banner, and before every call the system checks you hold at least ten minutes of talk time — if not, running campaigns pause themselves automatically rather than start a call they can't finish paying for.
Is annual billing required?
No. Monthly is the default and you can cancel any time. Annual is an optional way to pay for the year up front at a lower effective monthly rate — the toggle above shows the illustrative annual pricing.
